CURATORIAL AND DESIGN SKILLS
I have got many years of experience of organizing exhibitions and events at unusual locations, inside and outside. Curatorial (design) skills can involve many aspects like transforming spaces into exhibition, shop & engagement spaces, eg adapting the Royal Pump Rooms foyer into a 1960s inspired salon, suitable to host events for the ARTIST ROOMS Diane Arbus show. I have curated 2 allotment sculpture trails in Warwickshire (please have a look at the websites). In addition, I curated the OPEN 2007 and 2009 exhibitions at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum. These are showcases for professional artists from the West Midlands. Most recently I have created a Winter Shop for Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum, presenting Warwickshire based fine artists and designers.
